The Brief

Fablab are a team of qualified nurses and therapists running a successful body conturing and aesthetics business in South London.

Fablab have great online presence on social media, namely Instagram, where they captured plentiful leads and bookings. But they had put together a DIY website which did not reflect the companies slick brand image.

Neither could their users browse treatments and make bookings online without having to be redirected to a third party site.

Enter Vlam Media.

Fablab approached Vlam Media to tailor a website that would not only cement Fablabs position as a serious player in the aesthetics industry, but also integrate a user friendly booking system that would transact within the site, and not by some third party gateway.

Our Approach

A fluid user experience is fundamental to a good website. Fablab had branded itself as a luxury aesthetic clinic.

With this in mind, they wanted a very clean website with dark theme to compliment their gold logo.

The user experience for the website was set up to provide information for any prospective client what they can be expect from Fablab’s treatments and subsequently book online. It was important to our client that users could book direct from the website, and also implement Klarna as a payment option. Challenge accepted.

We setup a booking and appointments plug-in that provided a very easy step by step approach to booking treatments. The software would not would not only allow users to book treatments online, but would send out an automatic alert via email and sms text message to both client and therapist as soon as a treatment was purchased. This would then trigger the system to setup a panel the customer could login to that would manage their booking. Via the panel they can chose to reschedule or add additional treatments without having to call Fablab Staff. Thereby, automating the process and allowing Fablab’s team to concentrate their focus on treating the clients in clinic, instead of finding space in the diary to reschedule a customer.

Lastly we installed an instagram plugin which would update the website gallery as soon as the company instagram page is updated.
